Maximizing the performance of a logo design.
BRIEF
The characteristics of many sports require athletes to make tight, quick movements to perform specific actions within limited spaces (as is the case in basketball or soccer). In addition, in many sports, filming during competitions focuses on the entire game and field rather than on individual players, who are therefore mostly framed to show game interactions and the most important actions. These and other considerations were the starting point for evaluating how the Banca Ifis logo is applied in current and future sponsorships in the sporting world and what redesign activities were necessary to enhance its visual impact.
SOLUTION
The Banca Ifis logo has been optimized to enhance its visibility while maintaining its identity and recognizability. The logo’s identity elements, the bloom graphic sign and the Banca Ifis wordmark, remain consistent with the current logo but change the ratio of their respective sizes and the stroke of the typeface. Both interventions are functional to improve the visibility of the logo within sports sponsorships, also considering the indirect visualization of the logo on devices, supports and materials in motion during the filming of sporting events.
